Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Training

The Black Belt training is a four-week course, usually conducted one week per month for four months. It integrates classroom learning with hands-on project implementation. The project-specific coaching we provide to the Black Belts throughout the class may be supplemented with on-site consulting.

Participants are required to use skills that they learn in class to successfully complete real company projects.

  • The Black Belt Training requires the use of Six Sigma software. Minitab software packages are available from HISE Consulting Group at discount prices.
Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification requirements include:

Successful completion of the Six Sigma four-week on-site

Passing scores on the IQF Black Belt Certification Exam (CD Based)

Leading two successful Six Sigma projects

Optional: Please note that Certification without Project may also be obtained


Lean Six Sigma Project Requirements:
Six Sigma projects used for certification purposes must demonstrate application of a variety of the Six Sigma tools and have a sufficient return on investment (ROI). Six Sigma Certification Projects generally are completed within a four to six month period and generate an annualized return of $200,000 or more. The Six Sigma trainer and project sponsor will evaluate the successful completion of each project.

This training is suitable for anyone responsible for project management or large scale change initiatives within their organization (i.e. Managers, Leads, etc)

International Quality Federation Exam CD

HISE Cancellation/Reschedule Policy
All registrations are firm. Substitutions are encouraged when the original registrant is unable to attend. A full refund will be given when cancellations/reschedules are made MORE THAN two weeks prior to the program date. A processing fee will be applied to all cancellations/reschedules received two weeks or less prior to the program date. Day-of program cancellations/reschedules and no-shows will be billed in full. In the case of illness or an emergency, the registrant must notify HISE and will then be offered the next date of the program after the absence is paid in full. In the event of inclement weather, it is the participant's responsibility to find out if the program has been cancelled by calling HISE at 866-757-4473 ext 7.
