Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Training

Green Belts are employees trained in basic Six Sigma concepts, including project management, team building, general problem solving and statistical analysis. Green Belts work on teams led by Black Belts or they lead smaller projects that do not require advanced statistical analysis.

Course Objectives:
By completing this course, students will be able to:

Recognize the key attributes of a successful Six Sigma program

Understand how projects are prioritized using Lean Six Sigma tools

Understand the role of a Green Belt in a Six Sigma organization

Understand the fundamentals of the DMAIC problem solving methodology
Use basic Six Sigma tools for Six Sigma project definition and process baseline
Understand the need for advanced problem solving and improvement methodologies used by the Project Teams
Actively participate in a Six Sigma Team

Target Audience:
This training is suitable for anyone wanting to learn the fundamental skills necessary to contribute to a Six Sigma team as a Green Belt and anticipate working on Six Sigma projects In addition, Six Sigma Champions, who sponsor projects, will also benefit for this understanding of the Six Sigma project methodology.

PC Requirements:
Web-enabled laptop computer To run the Green Belt software, users need one of the following Microsoft Excel versions running in MS Windows; Excel 97, Excel 2000, Excel 2002 or Excel XP.
